Tessy's Birthday on a Train Ride

TESSY: Today's my 8th birthday and guess where we went?

CARMEN: Mom took us for a train ride from KK to Papar. What an adventure as it was the first time we took a train. We did not take the olden days British North Borneo Railway train (more for tourists and very expensive) but just the normal one.

TESSY: Yeah..., and it cost us..., emm..., emm..., only less than a ringgit to Papar (child's fare). Dad drove to Papar and met us at..., at..., the train station.

CARMEN: We actually went with our cousins, Darren and Damien, and their mum, our Aunty Vera. Their daddy also drove to Papar to meet them. Real fun inside the train. Bumpy but exciting.

TESSY: We had lunch in Papar old town and..., and..., later we drove to Melinsung Summer Bay beach, near Papar, for a picnic and played at the playground.

CARMEN: Summer Bay is a cool place and its beach is one of the better beaches in Sabah, you know?

TESSY: Later at night, mum and dad took us to..., to..., Sutera Marina Resort for a delicious dinner and..., and..., my aunty Vera bought me a..., a..., yummy Birthday cake.

CARMEN: We had great fun!

TESSY: One of my best Birthday ever.

CARMEN: Oh, Tess..., Happy Birthday, ok?

TESSY: Thanks, Carmen.
