CARMEN: Notice the swimming pool in the background? We went swimming one time when we stayed overnight at Langkah Syabas.

TESSY: I think the owner of the place is an..., is an..., Australian who married a Sabahan, right Carmen?

CARMEN: How should I know Tess? We just saw some photos hanging on the wall of the resort but it could be anyone. But, the place is a really cool place to spend the day, and it's not too far from the city too.

TESSY: I know that their breakfast was cool...

CARMEN: ???

Horse Ride at Langkah Syabas, Kinarut

CARMEN: Horse riding is one of my favourite things to do, especially during the vacation. Langkah Syabas, a small beach resort in Kinarut, about 30 mins drive from Kota Kinabalu city, is one great place for horse riding. In the pic, I got to ride on a miniture horse, which was fun. We got to ride through the lawn at Langkah Syabas and the beach. It was really cool!

TESSY: I thought you were scared to ride a horse, Carmen?

CARMEN: Tessssss. That was when I was really young. I love it now. And do I look scared in the pic?
