TESSY: Or 43rd Birthday for Malaysia.

CARMEN: Huh? A bit complicated there, Tess?

TESSY: According to the history book, Malaya become independent in..., in..., 1957. But Sabah formed Malaysia..., formed Malaysia..., together with..., together with..., Malaya, Sarawak, and..., and..., Singapore in 1963.

CARMEN: Whatever!?

TESSY: Duh... forget it, Carmen. Just celebrate Merdeka day today.

Carmen's Piano Grade 1 Examination

CARMEN: I did not attend class today as I have to take a Piano Grade 1 exam at Hyatt Hotel downtown Kota Kinabalu.

TESSY: How did you go, Carmen?

CARMEN: I think I did well, but I was soooo nervous, you know? Lots of butterflies inside my stomach.

TESSY: Was mom and..., and..., teacher Helen with you inside the examination room?

CARMEN: Nope. I was alone with the examiner with the UK I think. No other people allowed to be inside the exam room.

TESSY: I know you will pass easily, Carmen, as you can play..., can play..., the piano so well already.

CARMEN: Thanks Tessy. Crossing my finger.
