First Coffee Bean, then SF Coffee, now Starbucks

CARMEN: Tessy..., do you think there are a lots of coffee drinkers here in Sabah?

TESSY: Why?

CARMEN: Coz..., we have so many "coffee shops" today.

TESSY: Huh? In Sabah..., in Sabah..., the eateries are called..., are called..., "coffee shops".

CARMEN: I know, Tess. I'm not talking about those ones.

TESSY: What do you mean, Carmen?

CARMEN: First, Coffee Bean opened their outlet few years ago. This year, San Francisco Coffee opened theirs, and now StarBucks is in Kota Kinabalu.

TESSY: Oh I see. Yeah, we..., we..., visited the new StarBucks at..., at..., Warisan Square (near Promenade and Le Meridian hotels) yesterday. I like their..., like their..., Chocolate Chip Caramel drink.

CARMEN: And San Francisco Coffee just started their 2nd branch at Warisan Square too. We are getting very American, rite, Tessy? Maybe, it's not about the coffee after all.

TESSY: Maybe..., maybe..., it is just fashion...

CARMEN: You mean the "trend"?

TESSY: Yupp.

CARMEN: Personally, I like San Francisco Coffee outlet better, especially the one at Tanjung Aru beach. More cosy. More relaxing. And I like their chicken pie too.

TESSY: Hmmm, for me..., they are just ok. I don't drink..., drink..., coffee, and you don't too. And..., and..., they are so expensive.

CARMEN: Good places to relax and chill out, though, I must admit.

TESSY: Yeah, if you are a grown-up.
