Hotel Shangri-La's buffet

CARMEN: Last weekend, we had a family dinner at Hotel Shangri-La. Not to be confused with the Shangri-La's Tanjung Aru Resort (STAR) which is a 5-star resort. This Hotel Shangri-La I think is about 3-4 star and is located in Kota Kinabalu city centre at Bandaran Berjaya, just opposite the main cinema.

TESSY: The buffet was not so good, you know Carmen?

CARMEN: Yeah..., tell me about it. Not much varieties and choices.

TESSY: I think STAR and Sutera Harbour Resort are much..., are much..., more delicious.

CARMEN: The service at Hotel Shangri-La is not so good also. But it is still a good little hotel if your budget is a bit tight.

TESSY: Mom and dad got married there last time. I mean.., I mean..., they had their..., their..., wedding dinner and reception there. That's why..., that's why..., the hotel is..., is..., a bit special for them. But why they didn't..., they didn't..., have it at Sutera Harbour Resort, Carmen?

CARMEN: Well, because...., there was no Sutera Harbour at that time.

TESSY: Pity them?

CARMEN: Nah.., dad said Hotel Shangri-La was one of the best hotel in KK last time but their dim sum is still one of the best in town according to dad.

TESSY: Oh I see..., I remembered eating there..., eating there..., few years ago. Not bad really.

CARMEN: Luckily we didn't bring Tia, our cousin from the US along...

TESSY: Tia, Tia, Tia, only Carmen? It was a..., a..., family dinner, you know Carmen?

CARMEN: I know..., just wondering...
